Welcome to our family! Patty Elzinga and her daughter Heidi Christine O'Connor, opened their first salon in Ada in 1987 with $10,000 and a million dollar dream. Since then they've opened two more locations and two of Patty's other children, Betsy and Cris, joined the duo. Their goal has always been to treat their staff and clients like family, and to exceed their patrons' expectations. "We don't follow the trends, we set them" remains a popular motto among the owners and staff. Awards & Recognition
Community Involvement Giving back to the local community remains a vital role of the Heidi Christine's team. Countless donations are made to local charities and people in need every year. Staff members also contribute to philanthropic efforts. Each year they collectively vote on a charity they wish to help for the upcoming year. Most recently, they have volunteered their time and services to the Renucci House in Grand Rapids. Located near Spectrum Health and DeVos Children's Hospital, the Renucci House provides safe, convenient and comfortable overnight accommodations for families whose loved ones are ill. Weekly services include manicures, haircuts, and massages for family members who are under stress and may not be taking the best care of themselves.  Get to Know Heidi Christine
